Time to go back to work again...

Friday after I got off of work, Jon invited me over to his place because he was planning on making me dinner. I got there and he had made some salmon filets stuffed with crab and had a nice salad (with low carb ranch for me ) . That was adorable of him to do for me :) Later on, we met up with Patti & Kasha at Bar Louie in downtown Naperville, a bunch of their friends were also there, but we mainly talked with just them... later on, we decided to move on to The Lantern for a change of scenery. It was an overall good night, and I was glad to see that everything about the towing situation from my party was all fine and dandy with no hard feelings remaining. Good stuff!!!

Saturday, shortly after Jon and I woke up, we decided to head to Chinatown in Chicago. It was soooo much fun!!! There isn't really like... one big attraction or anything, to those who haven't been there, it's basically just a fun shopping/eating/touristy place to go check out. I ended up getting a really good silk black & red chinese shirt, a nice ceramic Sake set, some random jewelry, and of course, those chime balls that you rotate in your hands that have been around forever. We ate lunch at this place called Penang, I had the Onion Roasted Duck and Jon had some kind of Ginger duck... it was really great!! We got mobbed by a ton of peddlers who wanted our money, and one lady actually wanted to follow us to the ATM to get money from us... um... no, I don't think so? Ah well...

After that, we swung by the old Zithraul practice spot to pick up Jon's amp since the band's not together anymore. We took a few hours to just relax and unwind after walking all day, then we made plans to meet up with Jon's friend Steve in the City at a place called Pontiac Cafe to see one of Liz's friends play in some band... it was a really cool bar in the city near the double door, it kind of reminded me of Jimmy's in a way, since half of the place was outdoors, but it was cool because they had a stage for bands to play. Later on, after goofing around, listening to a few bands and such... We decided to mosey on to another place. We ended up going to "The Note" around the corner, and that place was actually pretty cool. It's accross the street from the double door. I ended up talking to some really cool girls named Jessica & Heidi who were doing a mock prom date deal... it was amusing ;) I also met some other cool chicks as well and we just all had a blast dancing and talking and taking shots and all that jazz... definately a good time.

We woke up late today, but that's ok, we had dinner at the Weber Grill and I think the waiter made a mistake and didn't charge us enough because our bill was only $16.00, that's ok though... we just dropped down a $20 and high tailed it for the door ;)

Welp, i'm going to go straighten up my messy apartment and then lounge for awhile, check out the pics, they're kinda fun ;)
